Dear Friend
Welcome to my website! I've long believed that Liberal Democracy is about being local AND international. That means playing a leading role in the EU, while defending the interests of Londoners.

Ever since I worked in Brussels as a journalist, I've understood just how vital it is to have the right people in place in the European Parliament. I invite you to check out my site to see why I want to be one of them!

Jonathan in the Media

A familiar voice from Radio 4's flagship programme "From Our Own Correspondent", Jonathan writes for a wide range of newspapers and magazines, including the Guardian, the Camden New Journal, Liberal Democrat News, Liberator and Society Today.

He cut his journalistic teeth as a teenager in the Vietnam War, reporting for the Manchester Evening News and the Geographical Magazine. He remained in the Capital of Europe for seven years, working freelance for the Brussels-based magazine the Bulletin and a number of other publications, before returning to London.

He has made a number of radio documentaries for Radio 4 and the BBC World Service in locations as varied as Brazil, Cuba, El Salvador, Oman and Israel/Palestine.
